SUMMARY:Carbon Leaf
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nCarbon Leaf’s fifteenth studio album\, Time is the Playground is both a call to action and an embrace of the moment. Marrying nostalgic storytelling to nuanced\, folk-infused indie rock\, the Richmond\, Virginia band embroiders heartfelt melody and harmony with acoustic and electric instrumentation to create a 12-song rumination on time\, love and personal growth that’s equal parts urgent epiphany and contented exhalation. \nOriginally formed as a college cover band in 1992 and with over 3\,500 famously enthused live shows together\, Carbon Leaf helped to define the aughts indie rock that they ultimately outgrew and outlasted. They first earned national recognition with “The Boxer\,” a song that won the American Music Awards 2002 New Music Award and made Carbon Leaf the first unsigned band to perform before millions on the AMAs. \nDue in September\, Time is the Playground is Carbon Leaf’s first full-length album in a decade\, during which they released two EPS and a 27-song live performance album and Blu-ray. Time is the Playground gathers the best of songs written\, in fits and starts\, over 15 years\, alongside brand new ideas.

SUMMARY:Bonnie "Prince" Billy
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nHowever dimly we perceive it\, we are living through a change of worlds. The one we were born into is slipping away\, reshaped and denuded by human action. What remains is the question of what we will carry forward\, and the manner in which we refuse to surrender ourselves. Will Oldham’s new album\, We Are Together Again\, feels like an answer to these questions.  \nIn Oldham’s songs – and in the circle of others who’ve gathered beneath the name Bonnie “Prince” Billy on this endeavor – friendship\, community\, and the stubborn joy of making art with others become a means of persistence. This isn’t to say that the record is a denial of collapse\, which would be delusion\, so much as that models defiance by remaining fully human\, fully joyful\, in a world with a diminishing horizon… I’m talking about Oldham’s record\, to be sure\, but I think the answers he suggests in We Are Together Again speak to the only meaningful choices any of us can make at this point in all of the agonizing everything.  \nA sense of human beauty runs through everything here. Each voice remains distinct\, yet folds into something larger. We Are Together Again doesn’t resolve fear; it meets it with harmony. It’s a record about the stubborn miracle of accompaniment. It’s about how we keep asking\, and how\, so long as there are voices to ask together\, the asking itself becomes a kind of hope.

DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nCritics often draw comparisons between The Tallest Man on Earth and Bob Dylan\, citing similarities in both songwriting and vocal style. Matsson himself has acknowledged Dylan’s influence\, revealing that he started listening to him at the age of fifteen. Fascinated by Dylan’s covers\, he delved into their origins\, which gradually introduced him to early American folk artists like Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie. However\, Matsson is quick to distance himself from being part of any specific tradition\, stating\, “I don’t want to be part of a tradition. I just want to do what feels natural to me. SUMMARY:Haggis X-1 (featuring members of Enter the Haggis)
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nHaggis X-1 is a high-energy Celtic rock band built around veteran members of Enter the Haggis. Over a 30-year career\, Enter the Haggis toured extensively across North America\, performing on national television programs including Regis and Kelly\, A&E\, PBS\, and at prestigious stages such as the Kennedy Center for the Arts. Their songs “One Last Drink” and “Down With The Ship” have become modern Celtic pub anthems\, keeping audiences raising a pint and singing along wherever they’re played. \nCarrying that legacy forward\, Haggis X-1 blends driving rhythms\, pipes\, fiddle\, and memorable songs into a powerful live show that connects equally with longtime Celtic music fans and brand-new listeners. The band delivers a mix of beloved Enter the Haggis favorites and fresh material\, all rooted in strong melodies\, big choruses\, and a sense of celebration. \nIn addition to Craig Downie\, Trevor Lewington and Tom Barraco of Enter the Haggis\, Haggis X-1’s lineup features virtuoso fiddler and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Grandmont on fiddle and mandolin (known for appearances on America’s Got Talent and performances with Barrage and Ben Harper)\, guitarist Will Earley adding rhythmic punch and melodic flair\, vocalist/keyboardist Charlotte Roth bringing dynamic lead vocals and rich textures to the band’s sound\, and Anthony Candullo on bass. Together\, they create an engaging\, contemporary take on Celtic rock that’s equally at home in listening rooms\, theatres\, clubs\, and festival stages. \nHaggis X-1 is built for live performance: a tight\, seasoned band delivering big hooks\, fiery instrumentals\, and the kind of communal singalongs that turn every night into a celebration.

SUMMARY:Murray Hill - Showbiz! The Tour
DESCRIPTION:From the Margins to the Marquee—One Night Only! \nCelebrating the release of his debut memoir Showbiz! My Life as a Middle-Aged Man\, comedian Murray Hill hits the road with a one-of-a-kind show that is part cabaret\, part stand-up\, and part behind-the-curtain tell-all. The self-proclaimed “hardest working middle-aged man in show business” brings his signature mix of razor-sharp wit\, rampant ad-libbing\, and heartfelt storytelling to the stage for a night of big laughs and hard-won wisdom from an outsider who made it his way. This show marks Murray’s debut comedy show in Ann Arbor! \nBacked by his swinging live band THE BALONEY SANDWICHES\, Murray Hill turns every show into a full-throttle cabaret concert comedy spectacle. With retro flair and a wink of mischief\, he works the room seamlessly between storytelling\, crowd work\, and musical moments. It’s loose\, unpredictable\, and alive\, where anything can happen and usually does.  \nWith humor\, heart\, and zero filter\, Murray proves that making it on your own terms is the greatest show of all. Showbiz! \nMURRAY’S VIP PACKAGE: \nIncludes a meet-and-greet\, a photo with him\, hardcopy book of Showbiz! My Life as a Middle-Aged Man with a personalized book signing\, and a Showbiz! bookmark. \nABOUT MURRAY’S MEMOIR: \nIn his powerful debut memoir Showbiz! My Life as a Middle-Aged Man (Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books)\, beloved comedian Murray Hill opens up for the first time about how a painful past led to an unwavering commitment to spread joy—one rimshot at a time.  \nMurray on his book: “Let’s just say the world could use a little more heart and a lot more honesty right now. I’ve always believed in chosen family\, resilience\, and a well-timed punchline—this book is all three. It’s not just about where I’ve been\, it’s about how we keep going.”
